A seagull bombed my hood and windshield. After a day in the sun, it was like cement. I sprayed the area with the included bottle (filled with water and a drop of soap), let it soak for 1 minute, then used the scrubber side of the pad. Came off without hard scrubbing. The telescopic handle let me reach the center of the windshield without leaning over the hood. No streaks after wiping with the soft side. Very impressed.
